They have designed a turbine with big wind technology in a small wind package. Most wind turbines produce direct current or DC and then use an inverter to change it to alternating current or AC. Endurance turbines produce AC directly without the use of an inverter. This more efficient design is based on big wind technology directly applied to power generation using small wind. It's a better approach with a better product. The power cost per watt with Endurance turbines is very efficient. The Endurance 5 KW turbine produces more energy per unit area than a 25 KW wind turbine (in certain wind resources). Endurance Wind Power on CNN & MSNBC Endurance Wind Power was featured on May 5, 2008 on CNN and MSNBC. The town of Greenberg Kansas suffered a devastating, record-breaking tornado. Winds of over 200 miles per hour wiped out 60 business and most homes leaving two-thirds of the population homeless. Now, faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their city, the residents have decided to not only rebuild their town, but to renew it.
